Attention Justin Timberlake fans: You’ll have to wait a little longer before seeing him perform in the Big Apple.
Only hours before he was supposed to take the stage at Madison Square Garden Wednesday night, Timberlake announced on Twitter that he had to postpone the show.

“Hey NY,” he tweeted. “There is never an easy way to do this… Unfortunately, I have to postpone tonight’s show to Friday due to health reasons.”

“I am truly sorry to everyone that have tickets for tonight,” he said in a second tweet. “It kills me to have to do this. I hope to see you all on Friday,” he added, signing off the tweet with his initials.

A rep for Timberlake has yet to respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.
Timberlake is in the midst of his 20/20 Experience World Tour, and had lined up three concert dates — Feb. 19, 20, 21 — at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Tickets for Wednesday’s show will be honored for the Friday concert date, and refunds, if necessary, are available at the point of purchase. The Thursday show will continue as scheduled.
If Timberlake recovers, he will have a very busy Friday: besides the concert make-up date, he is also supposed to make his first appearance as a guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
