An adult gardening workshop on gardening with cold frames and mini greenhouses is offered by Guadalupe River Park Conservancy on Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Master Gardener Sharon Johnson will discuss easy ways to build a cold frame or mini greenhouse to use to start seeds, acclimatize nursery plants before setting them in your garden and as a place to keep plants.

There is a $15 fee for the glass, which is open to ages 18 and up. It takes place at the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens Visitor & Education Center, 438 Coleman Ave. Pre-registration is required to 408.298.7657.
