MONTGOMERY, Alabama — EAT South will host gardening workshops in the upcoming months to give gardeners across the River Region an opportunity to increase their food production at their homes, schools and churches.
Each class will be taught by one of EAT South’s farm managers at the downtown farm and provide both lecture and hands-on training. The classes will take place on Feb. 22, March 22 and April 19.
EAT South asks for $10 donation to attend the classes and provides hand-outs and garden supplies. Attendees are advised to wear sturdy shoes and sunscreen as the classes will take place in the garden. Classes are rain or shine.
The Downtown Farm is located at 425 Molton Street. For times and more information, visit the EAT South website.
