FILER •Knopi Enterprises is presenting its Survival Gardening & Disaster Preparedness Expo on April 25-26 at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds.
This event will feature Preparedness Vendors, and more than 25 speakers who will share their skills, knowledge and personal Emergency experiences in a variety of topics including:
•Self-Sustaining Food Production-Building more efficient, higher yielding gardening systems; creating a home Aquaponics system; introduction to Permaculture.
• Wilderness & Outdoor survival-Identifying edible plants; surviving extreme conditions; the latest in Shelters and Cook Stoves utilizing tea light candles
•Natural Medications-Creating medicinal remedies with Herbs; utilizing essential oils for diseases
•Personal Protection-Thwarting attacks; Firearm safety; Situational awareness techniques
•Food Storage-Enhancing, Improving and Utilizing your food storage; canning tips.
•Signs of the Times-What the Experts are predicting for America; Visions & Dreams of today from those who have had Near Death Experiences.
One of the highlights of the event will be a special presentation by Roger K Young, world renowned expert in preparedness and founder of the Global Research Institute, who has been making presentations about “Signs of the Times” for the past 25 years. Roger will be speaking at 7pm Friday April 25 at the Filer Middle School Auditorium. Admission price is $5, but free for those who attend the Expo that day.
The Expo will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday April 25, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday April 26, and the cost is $5 per day, including seminars. Children 12 and under are free, and the first 200 attendees will receive a free pass to Miracle Hot Springs and a gift bag from Costco.
